Nicole Katzew is a Mexican Actress, Performer and Singer of Russian and Polish background based in NY and Mexico City.
Through out her career she has worked on theatre and film productions, in-front and behind camera.
Nicole started training at a young age in Mexico City. As a child she studied acting in “Casa Azúl Artes Escenicas Argos” and classical singing.
At age 16 she began acting in several theatre productions which earned her multiple awards.
Nicole attended “Berklee College of Music” in Boston.
In 2011 she move to NYC to gain an Acting Conservatory at the “New York Film Academy” where she graduated in 2013.
Since moving to New York, Nicole starred in several off off broadway shows including "A Pure Nonsense Play" at the Players Club in Gramercy Park , independent films and worked behind camera as an AD and Script Supervisor. She directed her first documentary short "Walks of Life" in 2013.
In 2015 Nicole became a member of the Hudson Guild Theatre Company, where she played the lead the role of Millicent in the production of "Brave Smiles. Another Lesbian Tragedy", written by the Five Lesbian Brothers and "Night With Guests" by Peter Weiss, which took place at The High Line Park this past October. Both shows directed by the acclaimed Jim Furlog.
In 2016 Nicole was invited to be part of the workshop "Actor / Character / Director" by producer Bertha Navarro in Mexico City. Later during the year she was part of the youtube series "Alas" and "Edukayshunman", she also played a character in the play "A Sketch of New York" at the Producers Club.
This upcoming summer, Nicole will be performing a Cabaret Show directed by Cesar Enrquiez at the Shakespeare Forum in Mexico City.
